At this point in American History, we are taking part in a monumental election year. We have survived a long and drawn out primary process. Now, we have our two presumptive nominees Barack Obama and John McCain. Both candidates are trying to bridge the gap between both political parties and foster bipartisanship. However the truth of the matter is that Americans still identify themselves as either blue or red. We no longer identify ourselves as just Americans, who support the concept “the betterment of our nation through bipartisanship”.
