Book list for driving community change

Jun 18, 2008 Posted by zach maurin

I subscribe to the list serv for Rich Harwood's "Redeeming Hope Blog."  It's one of the more insightful and thoughtful blogs that I've come across.

In the last email I received, Rich referenced a list of books that are great for community-driven consultants (and I would add, for active citizens).  I've read two of them, Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas Survice and Others Die and Good to Great and the Social Sectors: A Monograph to Accompany Good to Great.  Both are fantastic (though Made to Stick begins to fade about 2/3s through).

Here's a link to the complete list that was created a gathering held by the Community-Driven Institute: http://hildygottlieb.com/2008/06/11/community-driven-consulting-book-list/.
