At the ServeNext Public Square you can:

* Find, start, or join an Action Network: Action Networks are groups of people who will take action and challenge our leaders to expand service opportunities. Action Networks have their own page within this website that includes a blog, members, events, and more. Want to organize fellow community members to challenge the leaders in your community to support service and volunteerism? Start or join an Action Network today in your community or at your school or college.

*Create a profile: By creating a profile you will be able to connect with a growing community of like-minded folks who think service and active citizenship should be a national priority. You might have a Facebook or MySpace profile for fun. Your profile in the ServeNext Public Square can be your go-to place for a cause you care about and a place to be a part of big change in our country.

* Take Action: Over the course of the next few months ServeNext will be rolling out a series of action campaigns whose success relies on citizens getting involved. To keep up to date with these opportunities, you can add your voice by signing up with your email and zip code, create a profile, and join or start an Action Network.

ServeNext is about creating change from the bottom-up. As more and more citizens come together we can build a powerful voice to educate and show our leaders that the time is now to expand service opportunities so more people can give back, help solve our nation’s pressing challenges, and join a cause larger than one’s self.

The future of National Service is at a critical crossroads: will it be cut for the sixth year in a row or can supporters come together and fight for expansion. The voices and actions of citizens can make the difference. Join ServeNext today and take action for National Service.
